# Can I see pre-market and after-hours trading for US stocks?

**Yes.** US stock charts can show the extended session. Open the chart's settings (right-click the chart and choose **Settings…**, or click the gear on the symbol legend), select **Main**, and set **Session**:

- **Extended** includes pre-market and after-hours trading.
- **Regular** keeps only the regular session.

Right-click the time axis and turn on **Extended hours shading** to tint the hours outside the regular session. The price axis can also show the pre-market and post-market price: right-click it, then **Labels**.

CME futures use their own names for the same idea: **RTH** (regular trading hours) and **ETH** (the full electronic session). RTH needs an intraday interval; daily and higher charts always show the full session.
