# What do the CME data plans include?

CME Group futures (ES, NQ, CL, GC and the rest) are free to chart on a 10-minute delay. The first time you open one, accept the CME market data terms: a one-time step that exchange rules require, at no cost.

Real-time CME data is licensed by CME Group and billed separately from your OpenMarket plan, monthly or annually. One subscription covers all four CME Group venues, in two bundles:

- **L1**: live top of book and trades, so the footprint and CVD run live. The heatmap's full order-book depth stays on the delayed feed.
- **Real-time depth** (often called L2): full market depth, with the live heatmap, the DOM, pull and stack, depth replay and order-flow alerts.

The price depends on your subscriber status: exchanges charge non-professional (private) subscribers less than professionals, and you declare your status at checkout. The subscription page shows the exact price before you pay. Open it from **Settings**, **Subscriptions**, **CME real time data**, or from **See live prices** on a delayed CME chart.

Custom scripts do not run on CME markets yet: see [Can I run my own scripts on CME futures?](/learn/faq/scripting/scripts-on-cme-futures)
