# How do I convert a Pine Script indicator?

Two ways, both from the chart's [script editor](/learn/faq/scripting/where-is-the-script-editor):

- **Convert from Pine**: click **New indicator** and pick the **Convert from Pine** starter, made for bringing a TradingView script across.
- **With an AI assistant**: paste your Pine script along with a **Copy for LLM** from the editor and ask for a port. Copy for LLM hands the assistant your code, wrun's build rules, the kit's API and every compiler error. An assistant connected through MCP can read the wrun docs at [openmarket.xyz/wrun/llms.txt](https://openmarket.xyz/wrun/llms.txt).

[wrun vs Pine](/wrun/getting-started/wrun-vs-pine) shows the same indicator in both languages, line for line, and [Write it with AI](/wrun/getting-started/write-with-ai) covers the loop. Check the numbers against the original on the same market and timeframe before you publish.

The indicator library also has a shelf of scripts already ported from Pine Script: open one to see how a familiar TradingView indicator translates.
