# Where is the script editor?

- On the chart toolbar, press **Editor**, the code icon. When it is not pinned to the toolbar, it is in the **Panels** menu.
- In the **Indicators** dialog, the lightning icon, **Build**, closes the dialog and opens the editor.
- On a community script whose code you can read, **Fork** copies it into the editor as your own version.
