# Is there a desktop app for Mac, Windows or Linux?

**Yes, for macOS and Linux.** The OpenMarket desktop app is free to download from [openmarket.xyz/download](https://openmarket.xyz/download), and you sign in with your OpenMarket account. It is a beta: the download page marks it **Beta**, and the team is still polishing it.

## Which download do I need?

- **Mac with Apple silicon**: press **Download for macOS**.
- **Mac with an Intel chip**: use the **macOS Intel** link under the buttons.
- **Linux**: press **Download for Linux** for the .deb package, or use the **Linux AppImage** link.
- **Windows**: there is no Windows download at the moment. Use OpenMarket in your browser at [openmarket.xyz/chart](https://openmarket.xyz/chart/).

## Can I open the download page from the chart?

**Yes.** In OpenMarket in your computer's browser, click your profile picture (top right) and choose **Get the desktop app**. Or press `Ctrl/Cmd+J` and type "desktop app". Both open the download page in a new tab.

## Do browser wallet extensions work in the desktop app?

**No.** Extensions don't run in the desktop app. Sign with the wallet in your browser instead.
