Yes, in two places. The Journal panel gathers the notes you write on your charts, and every paper trade keeps a picture of the chart and a note of its own.
The Journal panel: your chart notes
Open the Panels menu and pick Journal under Yours, or press Alt+Shift+J.
Every note you write on a chart with a text drawing tool, such as Text, Note or Callout, shows up here. Notes are grouped by day, and each one shows its time, symbol and interval.
- Click a note to take the chart to it.
- Use the search button to search notes, symbols and tags. Narrow the list to Today, Week or Month.
- Right-click a note in the panel for Show on chart, Pin, Add tag, Copy text, Highlight and Delete note.
- On the chart, right-click a note drawing and pick Add tag to tag it.
Journal notes are drawings, so they save with your account like your other drawings.
Paper trades: a snapshot and a note for each fill
When a paper trading order fills, OpenMarket keeps a picture of the chart at that moment. To review it:
- Press Positions & orders at the foot of the Trade panel, and open the Portfolio tab.
- Under History, click a trade. It shows the chart snapshot, the fill price, the fee and the result.
- Under Note, press Edit, write why you took the trade, and press Save.
The Portfolio tab also shows Stats for the paper account: win rate, profit factor, average win and loss, and max drawdown.
- A snapshot needs a chart of that market open in your layout when the order fills.
- Snapshots and notes stay in this browser. The last 500 fills keep their snapshot; older fills keep only their note.
- Resetting the paper account erases its notes and snapshots.
Trades on a real account
Trades on a linked exchange account or on Hyperliquid are not journaled: they get no snapshot and no note. Their fills are listed in the Trade history tab of Positions & orders.
