User Guides/Indicators

Indicators

Add funding, open interest, liquidations, order flow, volume profiles, and the classic oscillators to your chart from one searchable library.

Candles show you price. Indicators put the rest of the market on the chart: funding, open interest, liquidations, resting liquidity, volume at price, and the classic oscillators. It all lives in one library: click Indicators in the top bar (the button doubles as your slot counter), press /, or open super search with Ctrl/Cmd+J and type the name directly.

The indicator library

The library is a single searchable list: official OpenMarket indicators and community-built scripts side by side, ranked by kScore (the community quality score) by default, with Name and Recent sorts one tap away. Search understands abbreviations ("rsi", "vrvp") and all six app languages, and the round buttons above the list narrow it to favorites, official only, community only, or your own scripts. Click Add on a row and it renders immediately; hold Shift and the same click adds it to every chart in your layout.

The legend row

Every indicator you add gets a legend row in the chart's top-left stack, showing its name and live values. Hover the row for its controls: the gear opens the indicator's settings dialog, the eye hides it without removing it (its slot stays taken), and the cross removes it from the chart.

Volume Footprints

Volume at price instead of volume over time: Volume Footprint, Session Volume Profile (SVP), Visible Range Volume Profile (VRVP), plus aggregated variants of all three (Aggregated Volume Footprint, Aggregated Session Volume Profile, Aggregated Visible Range Volume Profile) that merge multiple exchanges into one profile. The footprint has its own page, TPO / Market Profile is in the library too (search "TPO", then meet it here), and the whole family is mapped in order flow.

Technical

The classics: Relative Strength Index (RSI), Bollinger Bands, Moving Average Convergence Divergence, Volume (Script), Exponential Moving Average (EMA), Simple Moving Average (SMA), Ichimoku Cloud, Stochastic Oscillator, Commodity Channel Index (CCI), Money Flow Index (MFI), On-Balance Volume (OBV), Accumulation Distribution Line (ADL), Average Directional Index (ADX), Parabolic SAR. All fourteen ship as built-in scripts, joined by two more, Volume Bubbles and Bar Statistics: sixteen in total, each written in kScript with the source open, so you can read exactly how your RSI is computed and fork it the day you want it to behave differently.

Community scripts

Community scripts are indicators written in kScript, OpenMarket's scripting language, and published by other traders. They live in the same list (the community filter shows only them), each row carrying its author and how many traders use it. Open one to read what it does and, for public scripts, the full source; Add puts it on your chart like any official indicator, and Fork copies it into the script editor as your own editable version. Authors can also publish protected scripts: you can run them, but the code stays hidden. Heavier scripts that pull several data feeds can take more than one indicator slot, and the Build button opens the editor with a blank script when you would rather start from zero.

Converted scripts

The library also carries a shelf of scripts ported from TradingView's Pine Script language. Treat them as reference material rather than plug-and-play tools: open one to study how a familiar TradingView indicator translates into kScript before building your own take.

Suites

A suite is a named bundle of up to eight indicators, saved with their settings and exchange selections, that lands on your chart in one action. OpenMarket ships ten official starter suites: Spot Volume Flow, Perp Volume Flow, Ultimate CVD Suite, Aggregated Derivatives, Ultimate Order Flow, Exchange Open Interest, Exchange Funding Rates, Exchange Liquidations, Exchange CVDs, and Individual Exchange CVDs. Applying a suite adds its indicators to what you already have, slots permitting, and you can assemble your own from any combination you keep reaching for.

Favorites, recents, and your scripts

The star on any row saves an indicator or script to your favorites, synced to your account; the star filter then shows only them. The library also remembers the last twenty indicators and scripts you added on this device, and if you write your own, the My Scripts view lists everything you have authored, including private and unlisted scripts (private scripts are a OpenMarket Plus feature).
