How do I set up Big Trades?

Open its settings from the legend gear: Min size and Biggest per candle pick which trades show, Bubble size makes every bubble bigger or smaller, and Show size writes the trade size inside the bubbles.

Big Trades marks the largest trades on each candle with a bubble, in one color for buys (a buyer paid the asking price) and another for sells (a seller took the bid). A bigger trade draws a bigger bubble. Hover its legend row and click the gear to open the settings.

Which trades show

  • Min size: the smallest trade drawn, in the market's own unit (coins on crypto, contracts on CME futures). On spot markets one big order often prints as many small trades, so lower it there.
  • Exchanges split one order into many small trades, called fills. Big Trades always joins one order's fills into one trade, so one order draws one bubble.
  • Biggest per candle: how many trades each candle can show, biggest first (default 5).

How the bubbles look

  • Bubble size: makes every bubble bigger or smaller, from 1 to 10 (default 5). A bigger trade still draws a bigger bubble, up to a size limit.
  • Look: the mark's shape: Bubble (the default), Soft dot, Ring or Square.
  • Opacity: how solid the bubble fill is, in percent (default 30). Lower lets the candles show through.
  • Show size: writes the trade's size inside the bubbles: Big bubbles (the default, only each candle's biggest bubble when it fits), All or Off. Hover a bubble for its full numbers.
  • Buy and Sell: the two bubble colors.
  • Position: Candle center (the default) lines the bubbles up on their candle; Trade time places each one at the moment it traded.

Volume Bubbles is a different indicator: it flags whole candles with unusual volume. Its own settings are in How do I set up Volume Bubbles?.
