The News drawer brings X posts from the attention.me topic feed into OpenMarket, beside your charts. Choose the topics you follow, switch between recent and popular posts, and add posts from selected topics to your charts.
Open News
On desktop, click the newspaper icon labeled News in the ticker bar to open the drawer on the right. Sign in if prompted. Click the ticker bar button again or the drawer's close button to close it.
Topic tabs
The tab strip shows All followed by a tab for each topic you follow:
- All combines posts from your followed topics. A post shared across several topics appears once.
- A topic tab shows posts for that topic only. The tab names come from the available topic list.
Initially, the feed follows the five busiest topics by post count over the past seven days. Open Customize to choose your own topics; your saved choices replace those defaults.
Latest and Top
Use the sort menu beside the News heading:
- Latest shows the newest posts first. Scroll down to load older posts. When new posts arrive while you are reading, click N new posts to bring them into view.
- Top shows posts ranked by engagement. It refreshes periodically and has a limited list rather than loading older pages as you scroll.
The feed refreshes periodically while you use it. If a refresh fails, existing posts can remain visible with a Retry button.
Customize your feed
Click the gear button labeled Customize in the drawer header.
- Select the topics you want to follow. Topics are grouped by areas such as crypto, macro, equities, AI, geopolitics, and prediction markets. Keep at least one topic selected.
- Under On chart, enable any followed topics whose posts you want to see as markers on your charts. Unfollowing a topic also removes it from this selection.
- Under Feed, choose whether to show reposts and replies. Reposts are on by default; replies are off.
- Click Save to apply your changes, or Cancel to discard them. Save becomes available once you change a setting and have at least one topic selected.
