How do I convert a Pine Script indicator?

Start a new indicator from the Convert from Pine starter in the script editor, or give your Pine script to an AI assistant with Copy for LLM. The wrun docs compare both languages.

Two ways, both from the chart's script editor:

  • Convert from Pine: click New indicator and pick the Convert from Pine starter, made for bringing a TradingView script across.
  • With an AI assistant: paste your Pine script along with a Copy for LLM from the editor and ask for a port. Copy for LLM hands the assistant your code, wrun's build rules, the kit's API and every compiler error. An assistant connected through MCP can read the wrun docs at openmarket.xyz/wrun/llms.txt.

wrun vs Pine shows the same indicator in both languages, line for line, and Write it with AI covers the loop. Check the numbers against the original on the same market and timeframe before you publish.

The indicator library also has a shelf of scripts already ported from Pine Script: open one to see how a familiar TradingView indicator translates.
